Places in New Zealand

So today at Wananga we learned about places in New Zealand. We had to name some of the places in New Zealand and outside of New Zealand.  At this blog I will write one facts about each of the places I wrote. We did it in a sheet so I will take a photo of it and put it here.

This is my work.

Facts about the places.

Tasman Sea: Did you know that Tasman Sea was named by a Dutch Explorer named Abel Tasman?

North Island: North Island is more populated than the South Island.

South Island: The person that named the Tasman Sea also sighted the South Island.

Auckland: Auckland is one of the warmest main centres of New Zealand.

Pacific Ocean: The Pacific Ocean is the deepest and largest ocean on Earth.

Christchurch: Christchurch is one of the largest cities in New Zealand.

Wellington: Wellington is the capital city of New Zealand.

South Pacific Ocean: It covers more than 30% of the Earth's surface.

Thank you for reading my blog.
