Method:
Equipment:
- Acid- Hhyrdochloric Acid
- Base- Sodium Hyrdoxide
- Test Tube Rack with test tube
- Universal Indicator
Instructions:
- Get your equipment
- Put 10 drops of universal indicator into the test tube.
- Add different amounts of acid and base into the test tube.
- Watch what happens to the colour

What is acid? An Acid is a substance that in water solution tastes sour, it changes blue litmus paper to red. It reacts with some metals to release hydrogen and it reacts with bases to form salts.
